It is with a heavy heart that I write today to let you know that earlier today (Sunday) I made the tough decision to put our beloved Jedi to sleep. This weekend he suffered through multiple seizures and lost the ability to lift his body up with his hind legs. After meeting with the vet and having basic diagnostics done to rule out the easy things, the highly probable culprit was a brain tumor and the prognosis wasn’t good. It was a tough decision, but I know it was also the right decision.
As most of you know, Jedi was nearly 12 years old and lived as a part of our family for 11.5 years, traveling with us whenever possible and we could not have asked for a more loyal pet and family member than he has been. We love him dearly and will miss him.
Rest in Peace, Jedi.
